After updating nvidia to 525.78.01 the lag reappears, the external
monitor is extremly slow again. I've tries purging nvidia* and xserver-
xorg-video-amdgpu but no luck.

Window minimize animation flickers
This is a log file contains some errors when using firefox 97.0.1 under Wayland.
Under Xwayland, firefox has no problem at all and it can decode videos using
vaapi.
And that's what i got from the terminal
