I am using Ubuntu 14.04 updated to the latest as of May 8, 2014.
After I have changed the wallpaper to "Colors and gradient" i.e. using
some custom solid color wallpaper, it is not displayed at the login screen.
Instead the default wallpaper is displayed.

It seems that the issue is gone after I have installed the ATI driver.

In some PDFs, the fonts are not rendered correctly. I have one such PDF
which looks perfect in Adobe Reader in Ubuntu 13.10 but looks bad in
Evince. I have tried installing fonts from software center and Synaptic
Package Manager, but seems of no use.
