Sill present in Ubuntu 22.04.
Cannot browse samba shares from my NAS. Can connect if I provide the full path
without browsing.

Seems to work correctly for me now on Thunderbird 52.9.1 (64-bit) and
Ubuntu 18.04.1 (Gnome 3.28.2) all updates applied to date. Samba server
is running smb protocol v3.

Hi All,
I'm jumping in this thread because I think this 'bug' is the source of
many scaling issues.
I'm the owner of a 13" laptop with a 3200x1800 native resolution. As
recommended elsewhere, I set the scale factor to 2 and most applications
are readable now. However, readable is does not mean
I had a 9600GT with unbuntu 14.04 and experienced no problem.
I changed for a GeForce GTX 750 Ti and this flickering problem appeared. It
went out using the workaround of post #48.
Now I reverted the workaround of post #48 and I am testing Christopher
Townsend's PPA. So far so good, except that
Worakround of post #48 seems to work on my system, although I did not
check if there is a drawback in terms of performance.
Ubuntu 14.04 ugraded from 13.10
GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Linux-x86_64
NVIDIA drivers: 334.21
