Public bug reported: Reproducable, every time when I boot, I experience following: - BIOS screen - Screen turns purple (Ubuntu color) - Screen turns black and backlight off (really black) - GDM drumroll can be heard. Simply pressing the hardware key increase backlight brings back the backlight.
