Disabling network manager seems to fix the problem. in /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf Add [ifupdown] ifupdown:managed=true Then also configure your network in /etc/network/interfaces, and don't forget the dns-nameservers entry. It seems like the bug is NetworkManager disabling the interf
