Every time i boot with kernel 5.3 I can see the services loaded (I disable
splash screen), the screen is black when requiring the user credentials.
I switch to tty1 and the pc runs well, the I reboot to kernel 5.0.
With kernel 5.0 everything is good.

There are two setups where the solution is with my setup (NVIDIA Corporation
GK107M [GeForce GT 750M], laptop with nvidia and intel):
- Use Wayland with nouveau drivers: performance OK.
- Use Xorg with nvidia drivers with kernel parameter "nvidia-drm.modeset=1"

When I reported the bug, I could only select xorg when reporting a display

the command that permit to connect wifi after resume is

I have a iwlwifi-3160 card, kernel 4.2.6 on Debian Jessie. I am using
iwlwifi-3160-15.ucode.
Unfortunately, killing wpa_supplicant does not work.

Sorry for "double post" But using fglrx and fglrx-updates from propose

Still an issue. However, I was able to change the option through dconf.
$ cat /etc/lsb-release

$ uname -a

tested copying 6.5 GB file, worked without error on these systems:
Ubuntu 14.10 64 Bit gvfs 1.20.2-1ubuntu2
XUbuntu 14.04 32 Bit gvfs 1.20.1-1ubuntu1
I think the developers need more info on the error

change trusty to precise
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:mc3man/trusty-media
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ffmpeg gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg gnomebaker
now using Gnom
I am using a Thinkpad t440p Machine with 64 bit Ubuntu 14.04. I have the same
problem.
Swap to windows 8 with InfraRecorder working fine .
