What is happening:
I installed the package libinput-tools and ran the command;
$ sudo libinput debug-events
After that i see lots of pointer motion event "logs" even with the mouse

I'm on xubuntu 22.04.1 nvidia driver 515.65.01, nvidia on-demand profile
lags ...
I saw xauth list defaults to display :0 , and according to nvidia-
settings, nvidia on-demamd profile uses screen 256, not screen 0. So i
tried this:
$ xauth add localhost:256 . $(xxd -l 16 -p /dev/urandom)
af
With my built-in monitor, wayland performs as good as xorg
I commented edid and modevalidation because my xorg log show a message
about nvidia(g0) virtual size, different of my external display Native
resolutions
Another info is that i cant modify display brightness in on-demand
profile

I would to share my case
I think is a environment variable we know DISPLAY and some xorg.conf
tweaks (edid, modevalidation maybe)
under wayland i echo display like this:
echo $DISPLAY
it returns :1
Ihave built-in and an external monitor
