Hi, honestly I don't remember issues like this. If it was happens once - I can ignore it. But last week it became annoying(I have to reboot laptop or X) - so I noticed and report it. I didn't upgrade to 16.04, I upgraded to 16.04.1 in August. But didn't noticed such issue until few last days.

Public bug reported: Some text in system menus disappeared after laptop lid closed and opened (laptop resumed from suspend). Some text was visible but after moving mouse pointer on it - it disappear (refreshing I think). Looks similar to

noticed this issue second time for last two days. 4.4.0-36-generic on i5-3340M (IntelĀ® HD Graphics 4000). I didn't notice such issue previously (using xubuntu near two years) affected: terminal, system menu, eclipse not affected: chrome -- You received this bug notification because you are a
