When I try to copy large files (about 800Mb) from my NAS using samba i
get a "connection timed out error" in Nautilus. I don't get the same
error if copying the file using command line smbclient.

Today I attempt to visit the page http://www.selfitalia.it/store/perugia
and as soon as the page has been loaded the whole screen (including
panels and desktop) became fuzzy. Closing firefox or restarting gdm from
a console has no effect. Firefox closes but the screen remains
Comment #33 provides a nice workaroud, but all the applications should
use gvfs correctly. Just as (as an instance) evince does.
