After correctly applying the big fix on the guest too, the bug was still
occurring but much more rarely.
But now, after I tried disabling Klipper (the KDE clipboard history manager) on
both host and guest, the bug seems to have disappeared completely (and
copy&paste s
@paelzer Christian: When checking my installed packages today I just
realized that I didn't actually update spice-vdagent on my guest
machine, I only updated it on the host (🤦♂️)... So, I am retesting
again (starting from the big fix). I apologize for the mistake!

Out of desperation, I now tried to enable "Ignore selection" (I don't
really use that feature anyway) in my Clipboard settings on KDE on both
Host and Guest, and see if that changes anything (while still using the
big fix for the time being).
I am trying that because I noticed that often, when the

fix solution.

As a workaround I manually installed HPLIP 3.17.10 and it found the
plugin, and I can now print once again.

On a side note, on my system (Xubuntu 15.04, Radeon HD 5670), this bug
did not cause any bricking: X went up even without fglrx drivers.
