Installed mesa git from 2016-04-14, regression is still present, so
patching won't fix this particular issue, at least for now. Hardware is
Intel Ivy Bridge btw.

experienced the problem. it had an old gma 965 mobile (?) intel chipset which
supported at most opengl 2.1 and had no transform&lighting capabilities it
seemed.
