I recently updated my BIOS which removed this issue. Is it neccessary to
try the latest development release still? I use my laptop for work and
so testing development builds and mainline kernels concerns me a
little..

which also had no result.
I have not tried the patch in the upstream as I am not comfortable
compiling and running a custom kernel
