Can you switch to the next song after it freezes by going into system
monitor and killing pulseaudio? If so I think I have the same bug.
Noticed gstreamer error a few times during debug myself.

As far as I can tell this has nothing to do with banshee. If I try to
play music files directly from nautilus it will work (vlc, banshee,
rhythmbox) however I notice that on banshee and rhythmbox sometimes it
will freeze and you have to move the time slider and it will start
playing or it says
Running banshe (banshee 2.6.0-3ubuntu1) and I don't see the option to

Guess it was crashing because the galaxy nexus doesn't like .wav files,
figured out that if I clicked on device properties I could change the
transcoding options. While still being slow to recognize the galaxy
nexus and mtp still being a bit unstable at least it works.

Public bug reported:
When syncing files from playlist to galaxy nexus Banshee goes grey for a
number of minutes then returns to normal operation without copying
anything (exept a empty directory). Since I have only flac files I'm
noticing that it transcodes to .wav but not to .mp3 like it should

but played around with it and nothing but problems trying to enable
that. Would expect
