debs (as firefox is the destined browser anyways).

Yes I'm on 20.04 now and the issue produces the exact same result seen

Issue did return for me. You can always take a picture of the screen
with your phone if screenshot does not capture the cursor. I did take a
picture of it happening in 19.10 as well (attached)

With the latest updates installed for Ubuntu 20.04 I am no longer seeing
this double mouse cursor issue after two sleeps in a row. Will report

Same issue happening to me, was happening on 19.10 and still continues
after upgrading to 20.04 today.
Logging out and back in again resets/hides the extra "dead" cursor, but
it appears again after locking the screen and the monitors go to sleep.

to dismiss MANY identical dialogues about this failure!! I almost power
cycled... but kept going.. waiting for upgrade to complete PLEASE

Clean Ubuntu 16.04 install. I can't install the driver for my Epson XP-310
printer. I get a dependency error of lsb. Lsb won't install due to missing
lsb-core, lsb-printer and a few other issues. I downloaded the deb packages
from 15.10 but then another missing dependency
The workaround doesn't work for me. I can get the driver to install
because it says the dependency is lsb, then I need lsb-core and lsb-
printer and about 5 more. So I downloaded the 15.10 deb packages but
they depend on other installs, about 10 so until lsb in back in Ubuntu
16.04 I can't use my
After installing a clean Ubuntu 16.04 and trying to install the deb
package and then apt -f install to get the missing dependencies, I
cannot install the printer driver or connect to my printer anymore. This
does still work in Ubuntu 15.10 though.

Hello,
I've found myself, and resolve the latest issue ...
I've made a test with the guest account and i've noticed sound is
working well.
So i've made a backup of pulse folder (~/joe/.config/pulse/) and then
i've delete all settings in the pulse folder, and restart the system.
Now it seems to

Ubuntu is going crazy tonight
No more sound any where even the sound icon has left and the list of
sound cards is now empty.
When i've launch the system, icon is here (and sound also) and after a
few seconds no more sound on any hardware.

I can confirm this bug is still alive and well. I'm experiencing it both
on Ubuntu 13.10 and 14.04.
I'm attaching my results from xrandr on 14.04*.
Perhaps worth noticing, I've had no success disabling the unknown
display with the solution posted here
The cause of this was a bad libsametime package. If you encounter this
bug, make sure you have installed a valid libsametime from the Ubuntu
repository.
