I do not see any indication of what Firefox version is being tested. Note the availability of addons such as this https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/keywordurl-hack/ And the ability to customise the Search Bar (The KB article has a manual selector to look at versions appropriate to other Firefox versions and OS but the following is adirect link to the current Fx25 Release & Linux version) https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/search-bar-easily-choose-your-search-engine#os=linux&browser=fx25 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/690718 Title: Firefox en-GB locale uses google.com for search Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: firefox Current behaviour: 1) Start Firefox 2) Press ctrl-k, type e.g. 'laptop' and hit enter 3) You are taken to a page of google.com search results, including links to US-only stores, shopping results with prices in dollars etc. Correct behaviour: You are taken to google.co.uk, and correctly localised results are displayed.
