Bug affects me too.
Sometimes when I'm editing two documents at the same time, the bug affects only
one of them, while global menu for the other document works properly.
I haven't found a way to reproduce this. Seems to happen randomly, but
persistenly.

This bug keeps happening, so I need to report it again.
Sometimes while editing a document in Writer the global-menu-bar items are
unresponsive. They are present, and still selectable, but they do anything.
Hi, I updated my system (12.10 amd64) using -proposed, and the 'present
but unresponsive libreoffice menu bug' is still present as today.
