terminal does not give any crash logs when it happens and it is very
easily reproduced and extremely annoying. To reproduce it yourself,

which I thought was automatically removed during the upgrade. It's

I can confirm the same behavior on Ubuntu GNOME 14.10.
Importing a VPN configuration with the new configuration tool does not
work. However, using the network connections app works correctly, as
stated by vaiopro.

I am french, I use the Français (variante) keymap because I like how the keys
are arranged (², ³, œ, etc).
I also am left-handed and use Ctrl-Up and Ctrl-Down to switch desktops. I do so
by using RCtrl + arrows, keeping my left hand on the mouse.

I've exported the LModern Type1 font from the Ubuntu lmodern package
to the TrueType format (with instructions from
http://www.vromans.org/johan/OOo/oofonts03.html).
When using this TTF export, the ê character is correctly exported to
PDF and printed.

I can't reproduce it either, with LibreOffice 4.0.2.2 from Ubuntu 13.04.
I've tried exporting the same ODT file to PDF with the same fonts
package installed (lmodern), it works now.

Yes, as long as these alternate GUIs are using Ubuntu 12.10 packages
CaptainMark : please look 2 messages above yours : the bug has been
spotted (in ubuntu patches) and corrected.

If it was an expected behaviour, I think Chrome on Windows and Chromium
on Ubuntu 12.04, with the same version number, would have it too.
It seems it only affects Ubuntu 12.10.
