Public bug reported:
Playback hangs after seeking forward and backwards a number of times, with some
video files.
This can been reproduced in Totem and gst-play-1.0. It seems to be caused by
some audio stack related change in Ubuntu 22.04.
This does not happen when using the Totem flatpak.

do fix the issue for me

if touchscreen rotation used to work, it is probably this:

it needs the mentioned patch on top of mutter 3.32.1.
You can verify with a Ubuntu 18.10 live-usb, whether touchscreen
rotation works there.

I hope you can resolve/ revert this ASAP as it brings network down and
finding information on how to fix it becomes very complicated.
Anyway another solution to revert to the working packages is:
if you have an Ubuntu USB stick somewhere
1. Boot "try out Ubuntu"
2. mkdir installation
3. sudo moun
it is a bug in the gobject introspection python bindings - no idea how
to resolve it..
