Also, besides the screen not being displayed, the mouse acts erratically.
If I login in [can't see the characters typed however], I can login, but
some programs don't execute or
are displayed wrong.

Occurs only for the first minute or so after logging in as one user. If
I switch users, the error occurs again for that user.
