It _is_ a Bug in Ubuntu, because they do not deliver the
Standard-Thunderbird-Version with Lightning includes.

not international (localized).
A compatibel Release-Version of Lightning is already available, it is just,

I think, this is a Bug, Ubuntu should care about immediately, because it breaks

As defined it is not invalid, because it _is_ a Bug.
It will be resolved later, when a compatible Version of Lightning will be made
available at Thunderbird-Add-On-Search.
(I could not chose "Won't fix")

If you want the english Version of Lightning, type into a Terminal:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install xul-ext-lightning
If you want a localized Version of Lightning, at the Moment, you cannot use
This is ridiculous: If you go to https://bugs.launchpad.net
and search for: "Lightning incompatible Thunderbird"
you will only find two many years old bugs, which have never been closed.
How can launchpad be helpful in any way? I really want to know.

Hi Chris Coulson,
you changed it to Invalid which means; "This is not a Bug."
That implies, the Bug does not show up in the Search or in any Users
Subscription any longer.
Now, nobody can find the Solution anymore for the Problem, which is definitly a

(64-bit)
In all my 3 Profiles Lightning had stopped working / disappeared.
The First Profile had Lightning 5.4 installed as Add-On and now showed:

Xorg crash 1:
Boot with Linux 4.4.0-47-generic (upstart) instead of (systemd) now led to tty1.
The Login-Screen did not show-up at all. CTRL+ALT+F7 did not react.
