Public bug reported:

Found drivers for my Epson 4490 Scanner, and my Epson NX420 printer/scanner.
Can't get the H/P onboard audio to work. The audio works fine in Windows 7.
Can't get any sound in Ubuntu. Searched for drivers but am unable to get
anything to work.
I have a H/P p7-1240, with 10 g0g of ram. I'm running aWindows 64 bit OS.
I've installed Ubuntu 12.4 (I think that's the latest)
I tried getting sound from all of the other outlets in Ubuntu, (headphones,
S/PDI, etc. 0 through the "system" tab.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks:
Rich Bruski
