Public bug reported: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS freerdp2-x11 (2.2.0+dfsg1-0ubuntu0.20.04.1)
Exec=xfreerdp /multimon +toggle-fullscreen /audio-mode:1 /usb:id,dev:046d:0826 With the logitech camera active within the RDP session to a remote Windows 10 PC, the local Linux host loses about 10MB memory per second(!) filling my 32GB RAM within about an hour and then crashes the remote Windows session. closing/reconnecting the RDP session frees memory and starts growing again quickly. No problem when camera is off. Memory leak is only when the camera is active. ** Affects: freerdp2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to freerdp2 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1918952 Title: freerdp2 memory leak when using USB redirection Status in freerdp2 package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS freerdp2-x11 (2.2.0+dfsg1-0ubuntu0.20.04.1) Exec=xfreerdp /multimon +toggle-fullscreen /audio-mode:1 /usb:id,dev:046d:0826 With the logitech camera active within the RDP session to a remote Windows 10 PC, the local Linux host loses about 10MB memory per second(!) filling my 32GB RAM within about an hour and then crashes the remote Windows session. closing/reconnecting the RDP session frees memory and starts growing again quickly.
