@seb128, the crash in my opinion is not related to the theme, but rather
the same as reported upstream https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-
system-monitor/-/issues/182, coming from the migration to LibHandy, on
non-GNOME environments. The issue was fixed upstream with commit

This issue is a known one in GNOME System monitor, and is fixed with

push the the 3.36.1 release to their repositories to fix this issue.

That's weird indeed. It's hard to believe that it's an UI issue, as I
haven't seen that and don't see that on Fedora. Could it be related to
dconf setting not being stored and the filters being reloaded a second
later from dconf? I did see some other reports of settings not being
saved, which
Any special information about the deployment, or does this happen with a
stock Ubuntu 18.04 install? On Fedora with latest System Monitor I do

@6th: the request was to report this upstream, however I have just
tested it with system monitor 3.28.2 on Fedora, and it works just as it
should: with upside down pyramid the highest cpu% is on top, the lowest
on the bottom, and with normal pyramid the highest cpu usage is the
last.

This has been fixed upstream, in System Monitor 3.10.0, released in 2013, but
the fix didn't make it into Trusty, being an LTS release, and the System

Could you provide a screenshot? As system monitor doesn't have a taskbar

Public bug reported:
When starting my computer, each time I get several of these apport
prompts. After a long apport-gtk run for collecting data, this got
reported. I am using up-to-date 14.04, and the apport prompts appear
regardless of whether I am logging in to Unity or Gnome Shell.
I can also reproduce this on Ubuntu 12.10, and as this does not
reproduce on Windows and OpenSuse (with KDE) I suppose it's a bug in the
VCL GTK implementations of the text entry and combobox.

Yes, that's an issue fixed upstream, however Ubuntu still uses an older
version, and probably won't get upgraded to the current stable release
in the next cycle either, so unless someone's willing to backport the
patch, this won't change.

@Sebastian: Yes, System Monitor has been updated along with the other
