in the initial report *has* been fixed. What you're describing is a
different bug, as has been pointed out several times already. It makes
no sense to conflate multiple bug reports. Not every problem with the
menus in LibreOff

The combination of this and bug 1074528 is deadly. This bug appeared
before the other, but I don't know whether there's any causal
relationship between the two.
At any rate, I currently have no way of accessing the menus in
LibreOffice (via the HUD or otherwise), so I hope this will get fixed
soon
This seems to happen to me on nearly every occasion. Any ideas about how
I can access stoff that only appears in the menus in the mean time? Many
commands I frequently use don't have toolbar icons.

Testing shows that removal of only libreoffice-gnome is sufficient to
fix the text color issue. However, removal of that package results in
