After updating BIOS it seems to work properly now. Updated my
motherboard GA-AB350N-Gaming WIFI with BIOS version F22 to F50a. Will
update if issue still persist.

I've had issues with ubuntu for a couple of days now where the system
suddenly freezes. I've tried to use the command ALT + Sys Req + REISUB
with no feedback. The only way (to my knowledge) to get it back is to to
a hard reboot.
