Hello David, You got point on this. In fact it was the remnants of a realtrek drivers compilation. I did delete the snd.ko and did reinstall the whole sound base, then i have installed the daily dkms. Everythink back now. Thank you so much for your usefuk remark. -- You received this bug

Same issue after updating alsa drivers (kernel 3.13, oem-audio-hda- daily-dkms - 0.201410311235~ubuntu14.04.1 ): dmesg output [ 138.914918] snd: module verification failed: signature and/or required key missing - tainting kernel [ 138.918891] snd_hda_codec: disagrees about version of symbol
