I've removed the snap ("snap remove --purge chromium") and reinstalled
from candidate channel ("snap install chromium --candidate") and so far
the problem has not occurred again.
I will be reporting back here after having run it for a few days.

The upgrade to Ubuntu 20.04 did not solve the issue for me. I did not
uninstall/reinstall the snap though.

The window was partially visible on one screen, but did not re-position
when the screen was re-positioned. The windows title bar was not

Would be great to get the latest Thunderbird 68 (68.2.1) made available
as it resolves the following bug that prevents OAuth authentication for
Google accounts from working with correct credentials:

It's a known bug in Thunderbird. It's fixed in the latest 68.2.1

In the meantime, until a version of Thunderbird with the fix is
available for Ubuntu, there's a Mozilla support thread:
I tested with the latest mainline kernel, 5.2.8 (also with 5.2) and the
issue persists.

I am having issues myself, but I think mine are related to running ubuntu
in a VM on Windows.
I got IT to set aside an unused desktop pc for me to load and run it on
(they say its now on my desk...). Should have results tomorrow or Tuesday.

It is still definitely present on 18.04. All apps open in the secondary
monitor of all workspaces collapse onto the secondary monitor when the super
key is pushed for the activity overview (but go back to their original
workspaces when you push it again.)
