I can confirm I too have this problem. Three pc's running ubuntu 18.04 and all have the same problem in thunderbird. This was not present running thunderbird on Ubuntu 16.04. This problem does not replicate on thunderbird in Windows. It would appear that it is Operating System specific. -- You
