Just got this crash on Precise after switching to a workspace with
Nautilus as the top window and pressing Alt+F4 repeatedly to close all
windows. Nautilus froze and grayed out for a few moments, then while
asking me if I wanted to force quit it it crashed before I could click
anything.

I just made my changed version that way because:
1) I had no idea of what I was doing mostly (main reason), yet I just wanted to
fix it
2) I like how the top of the sidebar integrates seamlessly with the bottom of
the titlebar

Eventually I got fed up with Banshee and switched over to Rhythmbox. The
latter does not have the same stability issues (i.e., I can actually
listen to my music or online radio for longer than 10-20 minutes at a
time), not to mention I appreciate Rhythmbox's better GNOME Shell
integration.

This crash occurred to me after I had locked my screen to get up and do
something else for a moment, while Gedit was running with a few tabs
open. Thankfully all my work was saved.

I can confirm this. I now do have Thunderbird with Lightning 1.0b7
installed and working, but it still won't show in Default Applications.
This seems like a regression from Natty where Evolution supported

And now after this morning's partial upgrade, I lost hplip and cannot
get it back. This is getting extremely annoying when I lose and cannot
reinstall packages that I use on a daily basis. The Software Center, at

checked my Nautilus and sure enough, the problem's not there anymore.
Probably just needed to restart my machine for the fix to take effect.

Lukasz, not sure now if I can do that. After this morning's updates 3D
stopped working entirely for me, and unfortunately it was Unity 3D's
Alt+Tab that I was often using to trigger the crash. I am having trouble
getting Unity 2D to do the same. Or maybe I was just (un)lucky before.

VirtualBox virtual machine on my Natty install. Since Natty started
freezing, I installed the 9/9/2011 daily build of 11.10 alongside Natty
