I bought a new Acer Aspire E1-571-3114G50Mnks laptop for my father a few
weeks ago and installed Ubuntu 13.04 on it. It seems I have a similar
problem. The wireless network is hidden.
Here are the last lines of the output of "lspci -v"...:

The problem still exists on Ubuntu 12.10.
