Thanks, You're right. I'd just unplug the VGA, start the system and when
plug in, I could see the screen. Well, I'm using smart station so I've
to connect the external monitor(Dell) with VGA. It has HDMI port too, so

I am running Ubuntu on SSD. I've done fresh installation of Ubuntu downloaded

and tried all the previous solution of commenting out WaylandEnable=false and
installing haveged.

But I have never done anything using the test thing though.. there'd
be quite a learning curve to do that, I think.

I have the same issue.
Issue is resolved once I added entry into /etc/fstab.
//ip_add/ShareFolder /media/BACKUP/ cifs

Here .smbcredentials is a credential

1. I've tried debugging kernel boot option other than nomodeset but it did not
work, it shows started all the services and then pause there, no process after
then.
2. I've installed kernel 4.16 and 4.17 but it also didn't work and I have to
boot up with nomodeset option.
