I had a repeated crash when trying to apply certain transitions like
vortex, honeycomb etc.
Reported the bug but found the solution myself by updating mesa drivers.

I confirm this bug. I am not able to get any smart data from my NVME,
which btw is my boot drive. This is NOT a low importance bug, please
change to high importance, as it may lead to loss of critical data. The
user should be able to know the SMART data and health of his/her NVME
drive.

It is impossible to select "SMART data and self test" option for nvme
disks. Nvme disks are becoming more common and this functionality should
be added.
I was able to read smart data from my nvme SSD using HDSentinel (linux
version). So it certainly can be done.

I verify this problem. (12.04 x64 here installed on toshiba l655
laptop).
It critically affects battery life, so its importance is not jut low.
Battery life is lower when using ubuntu compared to windows 7, so I
think that it should be fixed as soon as possible.
