I tried what Dustin suggested at no luck. When I loaded the ttp20x0.ppd I was getting the same error
"Unable to open PPD file: OpenGroup without a CloseGroup first" Then I started to play with the ttp20x0.ppd file and eventually I got it working. What I did was to remove the OpenGroup/CloseGroup at the end (where the error was signaled) and move the "*OrderDependency: 10 AnySetup *Vertmode" within the OpenUI/CloseUI content. I have not ideea what this means, I can only guess, I've never worked with CUPS before. Attached is the ppd file for reference. ** Attachment added: "ttp20x0.ppd" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/1155693/+attachment/3913997/+files/ttp20x0.ppd -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to cups in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1155693 Title: Zebra printer not compatible with cups 1.5.3 Status in “cups” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: The ttp20x0.ppd driver for the zebra 2030 printer does not install in cups 1.5.3. I downloaded "zebraCupsDrivers_v2.zip " from http://www.cups.org/str.php?L3767 . Installed the filter by running: sudo aptitude install libcups2-dev libcupsimage2-dev gcc -o rastertozebrakiosk rastertozebrakiosk.c -lcups -lcupsimage sudo cp rastertozebrakiosk /usr/lib/cups/filter Then I tired installing the printer via the localhost:631 interface. When I select the ttp20x0.ppd from the file I downloaded I get this error: "Unable to open PPD file: OpenGroup without a CloseGroup first" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/1155693/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
