Typo in my comment above: To reproduce: - started with --hide-menubar: menu bar is shown, "Show menubar" in the menu is unticked - choose "Show menubar" in the menu. this is NOW ticked, menu bar is still shown. - choose "Show menubar" in the menu again. this will now be unticked, and the menu b

On my system (upgrade from natty) this happens in gnome-shell, but not in unity3d. In gnome-shell it even happens when explicitly specifying --hide-menubar on the command line. So it doesn't look like messed-up settings to me, just that this setting is being ignored. -- You received this bug not
