When we are calling this module in our script it is throwing traceback.
Find the attachment to see the traceback log.
We are using mint 32 beta version due to that is failing in conversion of data
type _version_uptodate.

sh hplip-3.119.3-plugin.run file.

Could you check the hplip version
dpkg -l | grep hplip
uninstall the default hplip package which come default with distro.
sudo apt-get remove
Then do fresh install of hplip-3.19.3 and install plugin manually using
sh for the same hplip version.

commands
apt-get remove --purge cups
apt-get install cups

I think hplip got uninstalled due to that hpcups filter is missing and
you are seeing the error. Could you install hplip.
