Title:
  [i855gm] font color is off

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Fonts are in white colour, the headings are a orange colour and the
icons are not showing up. I did an update and I started doing it, and
it did not complete. Afterwards I turned off the computer, I went out
for a bit, and when I came back this was happening. It is making it
very difficult to navigate through icons and fonts and all the pop
up's and applications are almost impossible to read.

I have no clue how to fix this issue, and do not remember what
  software update it was called.
