Bug 919377 is not my issue, though I have also done the same thing: added 2
gtalk accounts. For me empathy crashes. The window is no more there and apport
window comes up. Here is a sequence of screenshots that show apport coming up
after enabling the new account and empathy window disappears.
Empathy is the latest version available in the repos. Just for checking:
What are the packages that constitute empathy? Am I missing a package?

I'm back on Ubuntu 12.04. Here's the mission control log I got from the
debug window, after clearing the window and adding the 2nd gtalk
account. Empathy still crashes. I have version 3.4.2.3 now. Also, the
'Edit Custom Messages...' window is blank.
** Attachment added: mission control log
attach its screenshot as well ?

I guess if the bug is marked Incomplete, no one will see it. So I

My best guess is that I have contact groups in both accounts and it
crashes when it loads BOTH accounts with the SAME contact groups, but
different contacts.
To reproduce:
1. Add a google talk account.
2. Group your contacts: Friends, Family, Work.
3. Disable the account.
4. Add a second google
Thanks for your bug report and helping to make Ubuntu better. Is this
crash reproducable? if so, please provide what steps you take (detailed
as possible) to reproduce this issue.
