Started happening on my office Kubuntu 12.04 too. It started happening
today after installing the latest upgrades. The list of installed
upgrades:
2012-09-24 13:35:19 upgrade libdbus-1-3:i386 1.4.18-1ubuntu1 1.4.18-1ubuntu1.1
2012-09-24 13:35:19 upgrade libdbus-1-3 1.4.18-1ubuntu1
This has been happening to me for a while (a couple of weeks?), I just
decided to report it now, so the fact that this is quite new may not be
directly relevant.

Also happens on Kubuntu 12.04 x64.
Started *very* recently - about 24h ago for me.
Keeps crashing constantly, I've removed the chromium's cache and config
directory, tried using default skin - nothing helped. It just crashes silently
randomly. The only message I could get is from dmesg (error
