I can only see the wallpaper. Workarounds: 1. switching between ttys back and forth until dialogue appears. I noticed, loging in to one of the ttys increases the change that the dialogue will appear when jumping back to tty7. 2. switch to a tty, login, and 'killall gnome-screensaver' Sometimes - if I don't log out - it works perfectly for several days and dozens of locks/unlocks in a row. I do not have this issue on any other graphics card (e.g. Intel SandyBridge). How can I track down what is causing this issue? System: Precise 64bit lspci: VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) driver=i915 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-screensaver/+bug/1055642/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
