Public bug reported: This is not a new bug but I finally decided to report it.
I have a wired and a wireless connection at home. I usually disconnect the wireless via network-manager while at home. After suspend, both connections come up. If I use the network-manager indicator to disconnect, I am unable to-- I can navigate the menus in the indicator but clicking on things does not work (eg, disconnect from my home connection, Edit connections, etc). --- ApportVersion: 2.6.1-0ubuntu1 Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10 IfupdownConfig: auto lo iface lo inet loopback InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release amd64 (20110425.2) IpRoute: default via 192.168.2.1 dev eth0 proto static 169.254.0.0/16 dev eth0 scope link metric 1000 192.168.2.0/24 dev eth0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.2.105 metric 1 192.168.122.0/24 dev virbr0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.122.1 NetworkManager.state: [main] NetworkingEnabled=true WirelessEnabled=true WWANEnabled=true Package: network-manager 0.9.6.0-0ubuntu7 PackageArchitecture: amd64 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.5.0-16.25-generic 3.5.4 RfKill: 0: phy0: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: no Hard blocked: no Tags: quantal running-unity Uname: Linux 3.5.0-16-generic x86_64 UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to quantal on 2012-08-13 (49 days ago) UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout kvm libvirtd lpadmin plugdev sambashare sbuild mtime.conffile..etc.NetworkManager.NetworkManager.conf: 2012-01-24T11:31:39.844789 nmcli-dev: DEVICE TYPE STATE DBUS-PATH wlan0 802-11-wireless disconnected /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/Devices/1 eth0 802-3-ethernet connected /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/Devices/0 nmcli-nm: RUNNING VERSION STATE NET-ENABLED WIFI-HARDWARE WIFI WWAN-HARDWARE WWAN running 0.9.6.0 connected enabled enabled enabled enabled enabled ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-collected quantal running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1060167 Title: indicator doesn't work properly after suspend Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: This is not a new bug but I finally decided to report it.
