Public bug reported: Hi, I have a soundmax 5.1 digital integrated soundcard in my Dell Dimension 8400 It's being recognized as Intel ICH6 in Ubuntu, but doesn't have any sound. I've tried all the various settings in forums and related alsa back to original config before trying to contact you.
