Happens often here as well.
Ubuntu 12.10, LibreOffice 3.6.6.2
It's when I open an existing doc, make edits and that I randomly find
that NONE of the menu options that use dialogs work... no save, save as,
export, printing, etc... save, export and print icons work however.
Since there is no save
That's a good observation. It does indeed seem to occur when you are
opening an existing document (like the one I've attached in #1).

Yes, this has been happening to me running Ubuntu 12.10 x64 and
LibreOffice Version 3.6.2.2 (Build ID: 360m1(Build:2)) the dialog boxes
are not displaying. When it occurs all dialogs won't display which
requires closing all LO documents and reopening them. Then they'll
usually turn on.

At the beginning all Dialogs (used manual breaks-Dialog multiple times) open
just fine from menu. But after a while menu-clicks just won't open anything.
Shortcut are still working though.
If I close all Libreoffice
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

We had this problem at a local Ubuntu Hour tonight -- a new user showed
up who was trying to figure out how to export a spreadsheet from
LibreOffice to XLS format. In LibreOffice Calc he brought up Export (the
dialog appeared), didn't see an XLS option, cancelled the dialog, then
tried Save as and
I can verify that this occurs, though I can't ever dependibly reproduce
it either. I have found, however, that selecting the save as menu option
with the mouse doesn't work, the keyboard shortcut (ctrl-shift-s) will
work. So some bug in the menus maybe?

Do you experience this for other dialogs? None of the dialogs are
opening for me.

Title:
Save As Dialog Not Coming Up
I can't speak for other dialogs. Right now, I can't reproduce this bug
(even on the Save As dialog -- as reported).
It has occurred more than once for me, yet I can never seem to
*intentionally* reproduce it.
** Description changed:
When I need to print an envelope, I use the attached file as
Hmm, now it is working. Sometimes it doesn't though
