Saving as RTF loses table width information.
I'm attaching a snippet containing just a table, called bug.doc
To replicate the problem
*** begin steps
lowriter bug.doc (observe table width is 3 inches)
file -> save as
something.rtf
confirm Use Rich Text Format
file -> exit
lowriter something.rtf
*** end steps
At this point you should be looking at a table the full width of the document
