Because of Déjà Dup, I also lost data 1 year ago, and created a bug

But it's been completely ignored.

I can confirm on precise (I ran "G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all deja-dup --backup"
and observed that both ~/.steam/root and ~/.local/share/Steam were
