Like the Software Center also asks for the user's password because
important changes happen to their system.
So enabling sharing desktop is not important enough? You disagree?
For now I removed the package because I don't want anybody to sneak into
my pc without knowing it.

How is this a security issue?
The setting is completely within a user's session. Asking for the user's
password here would be security theatre.
