Public bug reported: I have been trying to change my font to `Terminus` (it is broken for most other fonts as well) using either something like:
xterm*font : -*-terminus-*-*-*-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-*-* or: xterm*font : xft:Terminus:pixelsize=12 and most unicode characters seem broken. I have been testing this using: http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/ucs/examples/UTF-8-demo.txt There is no such problem with gnome-terminal or urxvt. ** Affects: xterm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xterm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1125207 Title: xterm cannot handle unicode when default font is changed Status in “xterm” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I have been trying to change my font to `Terminus` (it is broken for most other fonts as well) using either something like: xterm*font : -*-terminus-*-*-*-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-*-* or: xterm*font : xft:Terminus:pixelsize=12 and most unicode characters seem broken.
