Title:
When using Window Spread, a maximized window changes its size

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:
  - open a window (e.g. "Home Folder" window)
  - maximize the window
  - press Super + W to trigger the "window spread" feature.

  What I expect to happen:
  - a thumbnail view of the maximized window is displayed

  What happened instead:
  - the logic height of the window is decreased by ~30px and a thumbnail view
is displayed

This is easily measurable by choosing in nautilus a folder with lots of files
and selecting list view mode.
at least 2 rows are not displayed in the thumbnail view.

  Why this is important:
When your use e.g. Virtualbox and the window is maximized, using the "window
spread" feature causes a change of resolution in the Virtualbox guest OS.
(causes flickering, movement of windows within the guest and other pains).
Exiting the "window spread" causes again a change of resolution.
