Public bug reported: On ubuntu 13.04 beta ligthdm immediately returns from session to greeter after succesful login. This bug is related to, I summarize to important information from there:

I have been using unity-3d before. But I tried all unity2d, gnome, deleted the .dmrc and so forth.
