Are you able to reproduce this bug using the latest version of the driver? (2:2.21.6-0ubuntu3) It includes a slew of SNA fixes, so would be worth re-testing to see if the crash can be reproduced. I didn't spot an obvious fix in the sna code changelog but these things can tend towards the
