I went ahead and upgraded to a daily build version of Ubuntu 13.04. I
have not had experienced the problem since I made the upgrade.

I have the same problem. I disabled my wifi-adapter to stop these
messages. Messages started today as I rebooted computer.

Yes.

Not that I'm aware of. I have installed software updates as they have
been recommended.
